  • Performed analysis of water, soil, and air samples for volatile organic compounds under EPA methodology (8260, 8015, etc) using gas chromatography/mass spectroscopy
  • Maintained instruments for optimal working performance via cleaning, part replacement, and calibration
  • Interpreted data output for quality by correcting software misinterpretation and/or requesting further analysis (dilution change, contaminant carryover)
  • Reviewed other employees’ data for quality assurance before submitting to client

National Park Service

Simplifying resource management in the southeastern region of the National Park Service through spatial analysis of aquatic populations and their threats (2007-2008) – $25,850 to create a geodatabase describing distribution of native fish species & their threats in the SE region and how these populations/threats are distributed within the NPS land units.  Funded through the CCSP program.
